For an additional fee and as part of your evening entertainment I’d be happy to play a game show with your guests. The shows can normally be played with 2 – 3 couples and last up to 2 hours.
Another game very popular at weddings is Family Fortunes. Up to 6 people on the bride’s side and groom’s side of the family go against each other as each person takes it in turn to guess the most popular answers to questions from previous episodes.
PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT
Play Your Cards Right was made famous by the late great Sir Bruce Forsyth. Two couples compete by answering questions to win a chance to turn the cards over, they then need to decide if the next card will be higher or lower to progress.
MR & MRS
Mr and Mrs is a popular choice for couples. At weddings this is normally played with the bride and groom and the parents of the bride or groom (or both). Each person is asked questions about their spouse, while their spouse is listening to music (so he/she can’t hear the answers). The Spouse then returns to answer the same questions to see if his/her answers matches with what the other half said.
WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?
If you’re looking for a past paced comedic game then look no further than Whose Line Is It Anyway. As your host I’ll create scenarios and situations that up to 6 people will have to act out in front of your guests.
BEAT THE CLOCK
Beat The Clock is a show where 2-3 couples are given challenges to complete in 1 minute or less. The challenges are wide ranging and normally result in one member of each couple getting very messy.
WOULD I LIE TO YOU?
Another show which is packed full of laughs is Would I Lie To You. Similar to the BBC show there’s two teams, with three members on each team. Everyone takes it in turn to read out what appears to be far fetched statements about themselves, while the other team tries to guess if they’re lying or telling the truth.
